With established relationships & ‘preferred supplier status’ with various government organisations across the UK we supply specialist government staff on a temporary, contract and permanent basis.

With a highly successful track record, aggressive growth strategy and strong financial backing the company is currently recruiting for a number of recruitment positions in its London office, 2-3 minutes walk from Victoria BR and tube stations.

Lead by an experienced management team we work on a team basis, offering continual support to all our employees to ensure they reach their recruitment potential. With one-to-one and group training programmes our consultants are successful, enjoy their job and are remunerated to reflect their success. Management opportunities are also available to consultants who show the commitment, determination and talent to lead a team of consultants in developing strong & profitable relationships with clients and candidates.


Job Description

Recruitment Consultants and Trainee Recruitment Consultants

The role of ‘Recruitment Consultant’ at Positive has a very all round meaning. As an established and successful recruitment agency we have built our success on a team based ethos, supporting and helping each other to achieve the company’s aim – to provide our clients and candidates with the best service in the market place.

On a day to day basis you will get involved in all aspects of the recruitment process. Working in a target driven sales capacity you will liase between candidates looking for work and clients seeking to employ staff. You will have a monthly appraisal with your manager and receive ongoing training to perform all of the following recruitment tasks to a high standard:

  • Cold calling & canvassing new and existing clients for job opportunities
  • Face to face interviewing of candidates
  • Face to face meetings with clients to sell Positive’s services.
  • Consulting with clients over job descriptions & specifications
  • Writing copy and advertising vacancies to attract candidates
  • Registering candidates looking for temporary, contract and permanent work
  • Searching for and screening candidates for suitable opportunities
  • Arranging interviews for candidates with clients
  • Negotiating terms with our clients and candidates
  • Providing continual support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Placing candidates into positions!

What’s on offer

Compeitive basic salary based on experience + excellent commission structure (OTE 1 st year realistic £35-40,000).
20 days holiday per annum increasing by 1 day for each year of employment.
Annual basic pay review based on personal performance over the year.
